We take pride in our factories with the largest manufacturing capacity in Malaysia, delivering up to 10,000 residential units per year. The Next-Gen Digital IBS provides a full suite of digital services from cloud-based digital design, BIM integration, high-level automation and precision robotic production.
All these bring about value engineering from a digital ecosystem perspective, with various precast products suitable for residential, commercial and infrastructure.
Building Information Modelling (BIM)
Gamuda is a leader in designing and using the latest technology and tools across our construction and infrastructure projects. This technology includes our digital industrialised building system (IBS) and 4D and 5D building information modelling (BIM) systems.
Building Information Modelling (BIM) is an intelligent process that gives architecture, engineering, and construction professionals the insight and tools to collaboratively plan, design, construct and manage buildings and infrastructure. It combines technology with a set of work processes that involve designing a building or piece of infrastructure collaboratively using one coherent system of virtual models rather than as separate sets of drawings.
This leads to cost saving, increased productivity, and allows for better collaboration, communication, as well as risk mitigation.
Certified by the Building Research Establishment as a BIM Level 2 Prepared Business, Gamuda is at the forefront of this transformative technology. We have even developed our own augmented reality platform, called BIMAR, in which we can overlay virtual design and construction elements with real-time worksite images.
