North Butterworth Container Terminal
The North Butterworth Container Terminal was a civil project pioneered by Gamuda Berhad in the early 1990s. Working with the Penang Port Commission, we constructed the container wharf and approach bridge, as well as container years, buildings and utilities – effectively raising the productivity and robustness of Penang Port, now a prime shipping port in Peninsular Malaysia.
In 2020, Gamuda-Dong-Pi JV won a RM932.5 million contract to construct a seawall and dike project.
Seawall-Taipei Port is Gamuda's third project in Taiwan. It involves the construction of a 4,014-metre-long seawall for a reclamation project in the logistics storage area of Taipei port, dismantling existing 945m of seawall structures, and Southport shore protection works.
