Community & Socio-Economic Resilience

Our Expertise

From holistic and sustainable townships to innovative public infrastructure solutions, our expertise grows along with the needs of the industry.

Explore one of our three competency pillars below.

It has always been part of Gamuda’s culture to give back to the communities and invest in local businesses in the regions we operate. Yayasan Gamuda oversees our community initiatives which focus on building socio-economic resilience with a multiplier effect to positively impact people from all walks of life. They encompass diverse groups including educational aid towards building a future-ready workforce, uplifting Indigenous groups, empowering social enterprises, and employment opportunities for the differently-abled.

In Australia, the Gamuda Graduate Program helps transition young talent from university studies to full-time employment. Developed in partnership with Engineers Education Australia, it offers industry training, professional development, discipline-specific masterclasses, and networking opportunities, as well as a formal Mentoring Program.

Indigenous Inclusion

Gamuda is committed to respecting the rights of Indigenous groups according to the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples. We prioritise transparency in our actions, impacts and progress, and always seek their free, prior, and informed consent (FPIC) in any decisions that may affect them. Our initiatives on uplifting Indigenous groups are focused on benefit sharing and cultural preservation. They have enabled us to develop lasting relationships built on mutual respect and trust.
