MRT Putrajaya Line
Our success as the project delivery partner (PDP) for the MRT Kajang Line led to the same appointment of the 57.7km MRT Putrajaya Line that will connect Sungai Buloh, Serdang and Putrajaya, further solidifying our expertise as the premier railway and infrastructure partner for the nation.
With a total of 36 stations and an estimated ridership of 529,000 per day, this game-changing project will bring a significant impact to the places it crosses through, bringing the nation’s government agencies and suburbs around Selangor closer to the city centre.
The success of MRT Kajang Line led to Gamuda delivering the MRT Putrajaya Line, solidifying the company’s reputation as the premier rail and infrastructure partner in Malaysia. As the turnkey contractor for the entire MRT Putrajaya Line alignment, Gamuda constructs the elevated and underground portions.
With a total of 36 operational stations of which 27 are elevated and 8 underground, the second line of the KVMRT Project will serve a corridor population of approximately 2 million people, stretching from Kwasa Damansara to Putrajaya, Malaysia’s federal administrative centre.
This game-changing project will significantly impact the places it crosses through, bringing the nation’s government agencies and suburbs around Klang Valley closer to the city centre.
