Gamuda Shaping Global Conversation with Autodesk’s TechX 2023
As an early adopter and advanced user of Autodesk Construction Cloud, Gamuda has made great strides in adopting the platform as part of our effort in developing an interconnected data ecosystem.
Recently, Gamuda’s group chief digital officer, John Lim Ji Xiong took centre stage at Autodesk’s prestigious TechX 2023 in Dallas, Texas together with Jim Lynch, senior vice president of Autodesk Construction Solutions. TechX is an internal gathering of Autodesk’s Senior Leadership Team and their engineering teams from across the world to develop vision and roadmap for their global products.
Gamuda was privileged to be nominated and invited as the only construction company to speak at the event. Together, John and Jim discussed the importance of trust, accountability and the role of data in the industry. As an early adopter and advanced user of Autodesk Construction Cloud, Gamuda has made great strides in adopting the platform as part of our effort in developing an interconnected data ecosystem.
John shared Gamuda’s experience of implementing Autodesk Construction Cloud across the multiple regions we are operating in, where we have leveraged its advanced features, including the Common Data Environment (CDE), which manages our design drawings, and Engineering Document Management Systems (EDMS) and digital forms for better collaboration between the many collaborators and stakeholders that are involved in any given project regardless of its scale.
In the session, Gamuda’s extensive insights and practical experiences with Autodesk’s advanced solutions were highlighted, underlining the incredible strides made in driving unprecedented transformation across our core businesses. It was emphasised that partnerships such as this exemplify Gamuda’s commitment to continuous improvement and its dedication to exploring technological horizons in the industry.
