Selangor citizens marvel at the Selangorku Idaman Residensi project predicted to be ready ahead of schedule.

Last weekend, Yang Amat Berhormat Tuan Amirudin Shari, Dato’ Menteri Besar Selangor officially launched a digital Industrialised Building System (IBS) project under the Rumah Selangorku initiative at Idaman Residensi at Seksyen 6, Selangor Cyber Valley.

This particular project marks Gamuda IBS’ first external Rumah Selangorku development undertaking a complete IBS initiative following the success of Gamuda’s own Gapura Bayu RSKU Apartment. The Gapura Bayu RSKU Apartment, completed in August 2018 was fully constructed 12 months ahead and sold at an affordable RM42,000 to RM250,000.

Idaman Residensi is also expected to be completed ahead of its schedule in mid-2021 consisting of 864 sizable 1,000 sqft units tucked away amidst 14,413 acres of prime land in Cyber Valley Selangor.

With one 14-storey block and another 15-storey, this development consists of a four storey parking bay, four OKU units, motorcycle parking, three convenience shops, a kindergarten, a prayer room, a multi-purpose hall and a management office.

“Furthermore, Gamuda IBS adopts a fully automated precast production system where we save 70% of labour needs. Hence, we are less reliant on foreign labour. The system is also safer and much more efficient, addressing the concerns once brought forward by the Government and in sync with the Government’s aspiration of building 100,000 units of affordable houses per year”, said Gamuda IBS Executive Director, Dato’ Hj Abdul Sahak Bin Safi.

Also, at the launch were YBhg Puan Hajah Norita Bt Mohd Sidek, Pemangku Ketua Pegawai Eksekutif PKNS, YB Puan Haniza binti Talha, Pengerusi Jawatankuasa Tetap Perumahan dan Kehidupan Bandar PKNS, and Tn Ir. Hj Mohamad Sharif bin Mok Som, Ketua Pegawai Teknikal PKNS.
