The engineering, procurement and construction scope of works includes:
- Civil, structural and electrical infrastructure required for the 585 MWp solar farm
Once operational, the solar farm will boast a 585 MWp capacity, generating enough renewable energy to power approximately 225,000 homes. The project is also expected to cut carbon emissions by 910,000 tonnes annually, contributing significantly to Australia’s sustainability goals and green energy transition.
Beyond delivering cleaner energy, the project will enhance economic opportunities for the region and fortify NSW’s electricity grid, underscoring its role in supporting the state’s energy transition.
Site access date for Goulburn River Solar Farm project is expected to commence by January 2025.
