Gamuda IBS and Crest Builder to explore collaboration opportunities
PETALING JAYA (Nov 4): Gamuda Industrial Building System Sdn Bhd (Gamuda IBS) and Crest Builder Sdn Bhd (CBSB) have recently entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). CBSB is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Crest Builder Holdings Berhad.
The two parties plan to collaborate to explore potential business opportunities and examine the possibility of joint co-operation and strategic ventures in prospective collaborations, tenders and projects as well as evaluation of the scope of work to be carried out by both companies.
The MOU was signed by Gamuda Engineering Managing Director Dato’ Ubull Din Om and CBSB CEO Teh Hock Hua. The signing ceremony was witnessed by Lim Hui Yan of Gamuda IBS and Crest Builder Holdings Managing Director Yong Shang Ming.
“Industry 4.0 is transforming project deliveries in property development in a way that manufactured homes will now become a mainstay. Our partnership with developers is aimed at bringing to market the next level of building solutions that will be transformative to the building construction industry.
“It will accelerate the adoption of prefab products across industry and elevate the supply chain for improved quality, safety and productivity,” Ubull said in a press statement today.
“As Crest Builder aspires to become a global player, the valuable exchange of professional knowledge and best practices that will be shared in this partnership with Gamuda IBS will continually sharpen our goal towards providing our best services and reaching our aspiration,” Teh Hock Hua said.
