Gamuda bags RM928.6mil data centre contract

Kuala Lumpur: Gamuda Bhd’s wholly owned subsidiary, Gamuda Engineering Sdn Bhd has secured a RM928.6mil contract from Pearl Computing Malaysia Sdn Bhd.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, Gamuda said the contract was for the mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) fit-out works associated with a hyperscale data centre in Elmina Business Park 1A.

It said the scope of works includes fit-out, testing and commissioning of mechanical, electrical and plumbing works for the said data centre.

Construction is expected to commence on July 1, 2025 with completed date on Sept 9, 2026.

“The said project is expected to contribute positively to the revenue and earnings of Gamuda Group over the next two years,” Gamuda said.
