Gamuda Land to open Discovery Park in Gamuda Cove next year
The Discovery Park, a part of the Gamuda Cove township project, is set to open as the next tourism and entertainment hub in Southern Klang Valley by next year, says Gamuda Land Chief Executive Officer Sdn Bhd Ngan Chee Meng.
He said the 20-hectare park would be the first tourism and hangout spot to begin operations in Gamuda Cove, comprising three main recreational zones namely The Adventure Park, Hangout Village and Sports Park.
“When the Discovery Park starts operation in 2019, coupled with its strategic location along tourism gateway for Southern Klang Valley, we are confident that it will be the key destination for local and international visitors and the defining landmark of the region,” he told a press conference here today.
The park is scheduled to be partially open in 2019, beginning with the Adventure Park and Hangout Village, and would fully open with all zones in 2020.
Earlier, Gamuda Land inked a strategic partnership with six key partners — Aerophile, AKA Balloon, Blastacars, Invade, Kitchen Mafia and Caravan Serai — to provide various activities such as tethered hot air balloon rides, go karting, mountain biking and outdoor glamping.
