Experiential gallery opens with grand show
GAMUDA Gardens celebrated the grand opening of its 18,000 sq ft experience gallery with a star-studded live concert at its 20ha central park that had a majestic waterfall in the background.
An enthusiastic crowd of 4,500 people made their way to the experience gallery as early as noon to partake in offerings at the food truck fest.
Astro artistes Amy Chen, William Tan, Jazz Law, Yoke Chen, Juztin Lan and Astro Xiao Tai Yang hosts kept the energy high during the concert, with the crowd dancing and singing along to their favourite songs.
Taiwan-based Malaysian singer-songwriter Gary Chaw took the stage for the finale, which got the crowd on their feet cheering for more.
The night ended on a bright note – literally – when fireworks lit up the sky and cast a colourful illumination over the park.
“At Gamuda Land, good town- making is achieved through strong master-planning, innovative place-making and community-building. These development principles can be found in all our towns,” said Gamuda Gardens general manager Lam Sew Chee.
Dubbed “in a garden where happiness lives,” Gamuda Gardens in Sungai Buloh, Selangor, features five cascading lakes that are integrated into the central park with two waterfalls.
It is a township planned with ample greenery, providing urbanites with a respite from the hustle and bustle of city-living while at the same time having accessibility to all the conveniences of urban lifestyle such as a retail mall, schools, social gathering places, food and beverage outlets and banking facilities.
“The key thing for any good township is accessibility. Here, the Kuang Elevated Interchange System provides direct access from North-South Expressway right into Gamuda Gardens,” Lam said, adding that the developer had included high-speed Internet connectivity in the list of facilities at Gamuda Gardens.
Another component of the development that residents will enjoy is the Waterfront Village, which is connected to the experience gallery.
The Waterfront Village spanning approximately 150,000sq ft will house conveniences such as a grocer, wellness shops, food and beverage outlets as well as sports and clubhouse facilities.
“We are pleased to officially open the doors to Gamuda Gardens Experience Gallery today.
“With a full-fledged gallery featuring an experiential dark room, event space, scale models and completed show units in place, customers can now see for themselves the actual layout and size of the units besides the actual green environment of Gamuda Gardens.
“When people come here, they will get a feel for the place and want to be a part of it,” Lam concluded.
In addition to the entertainment, food and games, guests were also treated to a preview of Jovita, which are link semi-detached homes that will be launched next month. Show units of Jovita were also open to visitors at the gallery’s grand opening.
