Sustainable employment for the differently-abled
05 Oct 2018 |

Yayasan Gamuda’s Enabling Academy had its official launch this week by Deputy Women, Family and Community Development Minister Hannah Yeoh.

Enabling Academy trains individuals on the autism spectrum for employment in white-collar roles at corporate companies.

The three-month programme covers soft skills training and job skills development.

A total of 30 trainees have graduated from the programme at Enabling Academy since it opened in May 2017.

Currently the programme has 14 partner companies who have employed the graduate trainees.

We are looking forward to having more corporate companies on board as we work together towards a more diverse and inclusive workforce.
