The Gamuda Graduate Programme (GGP) is designed as a 36-month comprehensive programme tailored for the professional development of young graduates through formal training, job rotation and familiarization across the Gamuda Group. With this programme, graduates will gain first-hand exposure in vital management knowledge, skills and competencies in their chosen field, and will undergo a structured learning process to further enhance their career and personal development.

SKIM LATIHAN 1MALAYSIA – GAMUDA (SL1M GAMUDA)

Answering the Government’s call to develop the nation’s youths with niche skills that yield high-income jobs, Gamuda is among the first engineering and property development companies in Malaysia to provide valuable training opportunities for unemployed fresh graduates. 

Steadfast in our ambition to contribute towards nation building and in support of Skim Latihan 1Malaysia, SL1M Gamuda was created to improve the quality and marketability of Malaysian graduates by providing on-the-job and soft skills training with detailed learning outcomes.

Requirements

  • Graduates with a Degree in Engineering / Quantity Surveying / Business related studies who have been unemployed or underemployed in the last six months
  • Preferably with CGPA 3.0 and above
  • Below 26 years of age

Programme details

  • The seven-month programme involves on-the-job and soft skills training at selected departments in Gamuda Group
  • Allowance will be given throughout the duration of the programme.

Gamuda Internship Programme

Open to all undergraduates pursuing their tertiary studies within and outside the country, the Gamuda Internship Programme (GIP) provides an all-inclusive experiential programme for students who wish to hone their chosen expertise and gain real-life working experience in one of the largest and most successful construction and infrastructure developers in Malaysia.

Application Criteria for GIP 

  • Undergraduates from disciplines relevant to Gamuda's business operations, namely; Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Architecture, Construction Management, Commerce & Business Studies, Finance, Human Resource, IT and Management
  • Available for a continuous period of minimum 10 weeks, as part of the mandatory industrial course requirement or for the purpose of internship experience. Interns to specify start and end dates.
  • Minimum CGPA of 3.0 or equivalent
  • GIP applications need to be submitted at least 2 months before commencement date by providing a copy of the applicant’s resume, latest results transcript and learning expectations
  • Display a positive outlook and openness for learning.

Notes:

  • Preference will be given to third year undergraduates or where industrial training is a requirement for the completion of their degree
  • Number of GIP places offered at any one time is subject to placement availability at Gamuda's respective units and projects.

Requirements

  • Obtained at least 3As in the recent STPM or equivalent (eg. A-Levels, Matriculation, Foundation, Diploma)
  • A good command of English, leadership qualities, right values and character, drive and a commitment to excel
  • Gained acceptance into any reputable institution (i.e. top universities in Malaysia/the world) at time of interview to pursue a full-time first degree programme
  • Must show proof of financial need
  • Willing to serve the Gamuda Group for a specified period upon graduation
  • Must not be a recipient of a scholarship, loan or financial assistance from any other organization
