Gamuda Learning Centre (GLC) is the dedicated in-house training arm of the Group where staff are guided and exposed to a variety of training modules targeted at personal and professional development.The training sessions include in-house and external courses covering Management and Leadership; Personal Development; Business Communication; Contract Administration; Finance; Information Technology Applications and Quality, Safety, Health and Environment among others.
I’m fortunate to have the opportunity to learn, grow and develop through the various training courses provided by Gamuda Learning Centre, besides the on-the-job training. It’s always good to know that there are opportunities for continuously learning!
Kala was a trainee in Gamuda through Skim Latihan 1Malaysia. She has showed determination and enthusiasm to succeed throughout her time with us. After the placement, we offered her a permanent position in the company.

Salihah has completed her career accelerated programme with Gamuda Graduate Programme. She is now a senior engineer attached to the project Director’s Office.
To allow for the strategic planning of manpower development, Construction Training Unit (CTU) was formed to oversee the implementation of all skills-based training channels across the Group.
GPOS was established in 1997 as a non-profit training centre dedicated to upgrading the competencies and skills in the construction industry. It is currently the largest and only one-stop training centre for plant operators in Malaysia.
CTC is a basic quality training ground for young Malaysians who seek to launch a career in the dynamic construction industry. The non-profit organization facilitates the training of skilled labour and equips sub-contractors and industry players with internationally benchmarked construction skills adopted from the best practices in Australia, Europe and Singapore.
The key objective of TTA is to develop a sustainable pool of specialists, technicians and skilled labourers to support the rollout of the KVMRT and other similar projects around the world. Under a pact with the Higher Education Ministry and the Ministry of Youth and Sports, TTA is offering internships on students from community colleges and the National Youth Skills Institute tunnelling skills.
The KVMRT Training Centre was set up to develop skills needs to deliver the KVMRT efficiently, with a strong focus on workers’ safety and health. Every personnel involved in the KVMRT project will be required to undergo training at the centre and obtain a Safety Passport certifying a high level of knowledge of safety processes and procedures for all MRT workers.
